🌈 March Moments with the Friendly Sea Turtles! 🐢💚
March has been full of magic, mystery, and meaningful exploration in the Friendly Sea Turtle classroom! Here’s a peek at what our curious learners have been diving into this month:
✏️ Writing Our Names
We’ve been busy practicing our fine motor skills by exploring letter-like shapes and writing the letters in our names! We’ve been asking questions like, Do I need straight or curved lines? And can I copy the letters I see?
📚 TSG Objective: Physical 7b – Using writing and drawing tools with strength and purpose!
🍀 St. Patrick’s Day Fun
From learning about leprechauns to asking How do people celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?, we embraced the holiday with wonder and creativity! Rainbows made their way into our art, stories, and science experiments too!
🏰 🐉 🦄 Castles, Dragons & Unicorns
Our imaginations soared as we explored castles and the magical creatures that might live there. Questions like Are dragons and unicorns real? And who lives in castles? sparked dramatic play and creative storytelling galore!
🌦️ Rainbow Discoveries
We looked closely at the colors of the rainbow and wondered How are rainbows made? And what could be at the end of a rainbow? Through art and science, we uncovered the beauty and mystery of light and color.
🎨 TSG Objectives: Physical 7b, Arts 33, Science 24 – Drawing, discovering, and investigating!
🔧 Fixing & Building with Tools
From hammering golf tees into boxes to pretending to fix and build all sorts of things, the Sea Turtles have been hands-on problem solvers! We’ve been exploring how tools work and how they help us get the job done.
🔨 TSG Objectives: Science 28, Physical 7a, Math 22a – Measuring, coordinating, and tinkering with purpose!
We are so proud of our thoughtful, imaginative, and hardworking Sea Turtles this month. As we spring into April, we can’t wait to see where their curiosity leads next! 💫
