Rebecca Bullock ran the White Swan in Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire.

She landed in Munich Saturday night and was waiting for a train toward Austria when she was attacked on the platform around 12:50 a.m. Sunday.

She died in hospital after emergency surgery.

Police arrested a 27-year-old German man with no fixed address at the scene.

He is now in a psychiatric hospital on suspicion of m*rder. Prosecutors say there is no sign they knew each other.

Should a random platform attack like this stay in the psych system, or go through a regular criminal court first?

On-scene accounts from Times Square on Monday say a woman was st*bbing people in the tourist district and NYPD officers shot her.

Police were seen clustered around a person on the sidewalk as crowds watched.

Official names, victim count, and her condition had not been confirmed yet.

Investigators believe two suspects were involved in the killings, though neither has been named and no charges have been filed. Prison officials have said very little about the killings, which remain under investigation by the Department of Corrections’ Office of the Inspector General.

In 2005, Esteban Carpio, 27 years old and with 15 prior arrests, stabbed his sister-in-law’s mother without provocation, an 82-year-old woman who managed to survive thanks to a witness.

After being arrested, during an interrogation without handcuffs he asked for water and was left alone with officer James Allen. They struggled, he took his gun and shot him. He then fled through a third-floor window, but was recaptured minutes later.

At the trial he appeared with a mask because, according to the authorities, he was trying to bite and spit at the officials. He claimed to hear voices, but experts concluded that he understood his actions. He was sentenced to life in prison.

Rachell Summers, a beloved Capitola resident and longtime gallery manager at Art of Santa Cruz, was stabbed to d**th outside the Capitola Mall on Monday, July 21. She was walking to the bank after picking up her paycheck when the attack happened near the food court exit.

The suspect was 19-year-old Tyler Leibelt of Santa Cruz. Police say it was a completely random act of violence — Summers and Leibelt had no prior connection. Leibelt allegedly told investigators he had a “desire to k*ll someone” that day. He boarded a bus to the mall, bought two switchblade knives (wanting one in each hand), stalked Summers, chased her down, and stabbed her more than 11 times. He called police to turn himself in and was arrested quickly.

Leibelt was already out on bail from a prior felony case. Court records show he previously had a gun violence restraining order after expressing desires for a “mass casualty event” and writing a goodbye letter about wanting to k*ll as many people as possible.

Yet he was free to roam the streets.

A man stabbed two tourists Tuesday morning near the ancient Acropolis in Athens, Greece's top tourist attraction, police said.

The assailant attacked a man and woman, both Greek Americans, with a knife near the entrance of the Acropolis Museum, which lies at the foot of the Acropolis hill. The woman suffered light injuries to a leg, while the man was more seriously hurt with wounds to an arm, police said.

The attacker was detained, while the two victims were transported to a hospital by ambulance, authorities said.
