April is Autism Awareness Month. We will be sharing about the wonderful individuals that make up our Autism Center at ODB!

This is my fifth year at Omar D. Blair Charter School. I'm originally from Illinois and have been in Denver for almost 7 years now. I choose to work with scholars on the Autism Spectrum because they are all capable of social and academic growth in their own individualized ways, and giving them the safe environment and supports they need to succeed is very rewarding to me. They also all have amazing personalities and make me smile everyday!

FREE Eye Exam + Glasses

Eye Love Care, Inc is partnering with ODB to provide a free eye exam and glasses, if they are needed. Exams will take place at ODB during the school day and glasses will be delivered to the school for your child!

Congratulations to Ms.Senter and the second grade team for being awarded a grant with the non-profit Wish for Wheels. Everyone of their second grade scholars received a bike today! 🦅 🚲

The snow is expected to continue throughout the night and into the morning. DPS has made the decision to cancel all classes and all school activities for Friday, March 15th.

NEW STAFF PARKING LOT

You will notice that the south side of the building has been fenced off. We are preparing for construction for a new parking lot to accommodate our staff. Please be mindful of the fencing and do not walk through the construction zone. We may also experience some disruption to the circle drive throughout the day. We appreciate your kindness as we adjust to this new addition.
