🎉 The events today were AWESOME! 🎉

Our students ran, danced, made rainbows in mist, sang, were drenched in color, played tons of games, and had an incredible time throughout the events. The energy on campus was amazing and made this a day to remember!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, cheered on our students, and supported the program along the way. We are so grateful to our families and community for helping make this experience possible and for supporting our school.

Day 2 is officially in the books, and tonight brings another fun Apex moment for students to take part in. Challenges change each night and are designed to keep the excitement going as we build toward the BIG Apex event.

Today’s challenge involves getting the biggest jump in shares! The elementary class winner gets to play games for sweets and the top 3 middle school students will get lunch for them and a friend!

Apex has officially taken over the cafeteria TODAY!

Lunch is going to get a little louder, a little more exciting, and a lot more fun as we kick off the Apex experience at our school.

Students will see fun activities and Apex energy during lunch as the program gets underway. This is the start of a two-week experience that builds toward the BIG Apex event everyone’s been talking about.

Parents ▶️ ask your student about what happened at lunch today and how they can participate through nightly challenges and family support.

We’re excited to bring this experience to our school. Let’s get started! 🎉

Meet Ms. Patton 🌟 our Building Sub, who brings 15 years of heart and humor to our hallways! What started as a way to support her own twin sons in OKCPS has blossomed into a beautiful career of teaching, mentoring, and coaching. Fun fact: she's a twin herself, so she knows a thing or two about teamwork! 🎭 When she's not making us laugh in the classroom, you'll find Ms. Patton soaking in the creativity at art galleries 🎨, belting out tunes at concerts 🎵, or enjoying live music. Her infectious energy and passion for education make her an absolute treasure on our team. Thank you, Ms. Patton, for 15 years of dedication and for bringing your whole self to work every single day! 💙

Meet Ms. Peck, our K-5 Technology Teacher! 🖥️ This adventurous educator brings a world of experience to our classrooms. With 8 years of teaching technology under her belt, plus time in higher education and retail management, she knows how to connect with learners in meaningful ways. 🌟

What makes Ms. Peck truly special? She's a self-published author who literally lived out a dream adventure! 📚✈️ She took a year and a half to travel around house and pet sitting while writing her first children's book—talk about turning inspiration into action. When she's not inspiring young minds, you'll find her outdoors exploring new experiences and new adventures. 🏕️ And if you catch her on game day, she's cheering on her favorite football team! 🏈

As the middle child of seven, Ms. Peck knows a thing or two about creativity, resilience, and bringing people together. We're so grateful to have her sharing her passion for technology, storytelling, and adventure with our students every single day! 💙

Meet Ms. Kim! 🌟 Our amazing Lead Secretary is the heartbeat of our school's front office, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

When she's not organizing our chaos into order, you'll find her tending to her garden 🌱 (we're guessing those dobermans help with the weeding!). With a heart for service, Ms. Kim has volunteered everywhere from caring for newborns at a VA Clinic to helping furry friends at the animal shelter. She's a mom to a teenager and a kindergartener, which means she's basically a professional juggler at this point 🎪.

Next time you see Ms. Kim at the front desk, give her a wave—she's the reason our school family stays connected and cared for! 💚
