Horses of Hickory Run The Horses of Hickory Run are a small herd of four arabians, living the good life at Hickory Run Campground in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

They arrived as yearlings and settled in as an attraction for all the campers to admire and watch them grow into beautiful trail and lesson horses. Join our group and follow along! Better yet, book a campsite at Hickory Run Campground and come see us!

Some weekends you paint one. 😂

Kids and grown-ups got creative with one very patient white horse at Hickory Run Campground. Lots of colors, lots of smiles, and one horse who definitely ended the day looking a little more interesting than when she started.

When the temperatures climb into the 90s, everyone appreciates a chance to cool off—including our four horses! 🐴💦

Stan gave them a refreshing shower, and one horse decided to finish things off with a full grass roll. We'd call that a successful spa day.

If you're looking for a place to escape the heat, we've got a swimming pool, a lake, shady campsites, and plenty of room to relax.

Time for Spring Shots! No crazy. No spooks. No struggle. Just a quiet vet visit. Our horses know the ropes, except nobody likes the worming paste! Yuk! Thank you, Kopec Veterinary for being here for the horses, from day one when they arrived as frisky yearlings.
