We support 6-12th grade immigrant, refugee, and 1st-gen youth from mixed immigration status families as they find power in their migrant experience and use it to enrich themselves and their CO communities via self-empowerment, leadership, and advocacy. We are a leadership program – for immigrant, refugee, and first-generation 6th – 12th-grade youth from any nationality and with any immigration status – that helps them channel their leadership through the lens of their migrant journey so they can strengthen their sense of self and continue practicing agency as they make a positive impact on their Colorado communities.

Shout out to Denver Botanic Gardens for hosting our students and their moms. Together they enjoyed a workshop led by visiting artist Xitla López. 🌿🧵 Inspired by the medicinal plants of the Códice de la Cruz-Badiano, participants learned basic embroidery techniques while creating their own botanical designs. 💛

🎓✨ To the Class of 2026: Congratulations on reaching this incredible milestone!

As you step into your next chapter, remember this: where you come from is something to be proud of. Your story, culture, experiences, and unique roots are not barriers, they are sources of power. They shape how you lead, dream, and contribute to the world around you.

So dream boldly, stay true to yourself, and carry your roots with pride as you build what comes next. 🌟
