Garfield Montessori School

During the cold winter days, we decided to bring nature inside with a visit from The Denver Museum of Nature and Science!
Last week, our students transformed into raccoons, snakes, and spiders as they learned about predator/prey relationships through hands-on lessons and games.
The kiddos loved it and got to learn in a new, exciting way! Thank you Denver Museum of Nature & Science !

We are so happy to be back at school for a new year of learning and growing!

Before moving forward, we want to look back and thank our community for the incredible amount of generosity they shared with the staff of Garfield as well as the Children's Hospital of Colorado this holiday season. We had two overflowing bins of donated toys, books, blankets, hats, and stuffies to donate that are surely putting smiles on children's faces.
