❇️ Why I Give ❇️
This week, we're featuring Diann Rozell Huber ('76 M.B.A., '01 Ed.D.), a passionate supporter of the university whose dedication ignited the efforts making the Mean Green Firetruck possible in 2023. She is also actively engaged as a UNT Kuehne Speaker Series Emerald Lifetime Member.
“UNT invested in me through education, mentorship and experiences that propelled my career forward, and supporting the university is my way of ensuring future generations of students receive those same opportunities. Giving back is not only an expression of gratitude, but also a commitment to helping UNT continue its mission of empowering students and strengthening the community.”

✨ Introducing Impact Spotlight, a new series that highlights the voices of UNT students whose lives have been shaped by scholarships made possible through your generosity.
➡️ This week, we're featuring UNT Sociology Honors student River McFarlane, who shares how scholarship support gave them the freedom to pursue their goals with confidence.
“My scholarships have allowed me to pursue my education with complete freedom. Rather than feel pressure to graduate early, I'm able to comfortably graduate with a major and three minors in the traditional four years. By having the time to complete all of my degree requirements, I am able to get more research experience during my undergraduate years, figure out what I want to research and develop a more robust graduate school application.”
