🎸 Teacher Spotlight: Mr. Jesse Washman🎶

Born and raised in Denton, Jesse began playing guitar at age 8, starting in classical before diving into jazz at 16. He earned his Bachelor’s in Guitar Performance from Texas Christian University and his Master’s in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas.

Jesse has performed across the DFW area in jazz ensembles, musicals, opera, symphonies, and as a solo guitarist for weddings, ballet productions, and private events. He also served as an adjunct instructor at El Centro College.

Today, Jesse teaches full-time and continues creating music, with a passion for connecting with others through every lesson.

🎶 Instruments & Areas: Guitar, Piano, Cello, Violin, Viola, Linnstrument & Sound Engineering

When he’s not teaching, you’ll find him hiking, cycling, or backpacking.

We’re so lucky to have him at Musicology! 💙
