We are so thrilled to announce Pianist and Violinist Janicesta Browne will be joining Musicology.

Janicesta Browne is a pianist and violinist with a combined quarter century of experience between the two instruments. She brings both professional teaching and accompanying experience to her work with students and is easily comfortable in classical, sacred (praise), and contemporary musical settings.

Her musical background includes classical repertoire, music theory, improvisation, jazz, pop, and contemporary styles. Janicesta has taught and performed with ensembles throughout Killeen ISD, her hometown community, as well as in the Denton area. She is passionate about helping students of all ages and ability levels build confidence, develop strong musical skills, and discover their own connection to music.

Outside of teaching and performing, Janicesta enjoys reading, spending time with her cat, Chamomile, and playing Super Mario on the Wii. She has had a lifelong love of sharing music with others and brings warmth, versatility, and enthusiasm to every student she teaches.
