We're ready for the First Day tomorrow! Here is a reminder of the daily arrival procedures:

7:15 a.m. - students may enter the building
*Please note - there is no supervision provided outside of the building for students prior to 7:15. Please do not leave your child unattended before this time.

Car Rider Drop-Off is in the Front Drive. (You may also park and walk your child to the building.)

Walkers enter through the front entrance.

Students will go to the gym and line up with their grade level until the 7:30 bell rings or go to the cafeteria for breakfast.

If they need to eat breakfast at school, they should be in the cafeteria line by 7:15 in order to have enough time to eat in the cafe before the tardy bell.

7:30 a.m.
Students are able to enter classrooms; school day begins with teachers at their doors to greet students.

(*For the first day, August 13th, parents will be allowed to walk their children into the building, then on Friday, August 14th and Monday August 17th only PK and Kinder parents. Parents must have their Photo ID with them to sign in. Starting Tuesday, August 18th, visitors will not be allowed into the building at arrival unless it is their child’s first day.)

7:40 a.m.
Tardy bell rings and announcements begin; students are expected to be in class ready to learn by this time. They must be inside the classroom by 7:40 in order to not be counted as "tardy" on attendance records.

The front door is closed and locked at the 7:40 bell. Students arriving after that time need to enter at the front office and ring the bell to enter the building.

*If you are walking your child to class tomorrow, please expect sign-in lines. We have several staff members who will be helping with sign-in to expedite the process. We're excited to see everyone; please be patient and we will get you to your children's classrooms as quickly as possible so you can say hi to their teacher and take those fun first day of school pics!

It's almost that time, Panther families! We're looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow evening for Meet the Teacher - 5:30pm - 6:16pm for grades PK - 2, and 6:15pm - 7:00pm for grades 3-5. We are excited to welcome our staff back tomorrow, August 4th! Our teachers will receive their class lists by the end of the week, and will call families by the morning of August 11th. They will be in professional development sessions this week and prepping their classrooms. **In order to meet the teacher, students must be fully registered. If you need assistance with registration, please call our office at 940-369-3500 or stop by the office between 8am and 3pm.

Free breakfast and lunch are available for all children 18 and under at select Denton ISD campuses this summer. No registration required. Just stop by and enjoy a meal. Meals must be eaten on-site.
