UNT enhancing AI education and research efforts with $2M NSF grant The National Science Foundation grant, in part, will be used for scholarships renewable up to three years for select undergraduate students who want to delve more into artificial intelligence research.

NSF S-STEM Scholarship Program 2025 - 2030.

The scholarship provides financial support to talented students who face financial challenges.
• It is up to $13,849 per year and is renewable.
• receive multi-faceted mentoring, summer research and/or internship opportunities, and travel to conferences.
• receive AI certificates after taking four courses.

Eligibilities:
• Students in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering
• U.S. Citizens, nationals of the U.S., permanent residents, and aliens admitted as refugees
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Demonstrated financial need (e.g., filed a FAFSA application)

Submit the application and a recommendation letter.
The deadline to apply is April 5, 2025
