A little glimpse into what Thursday mornings really look like at KinderThrive. 🐝❤️

My commute may be less than a minute 😂, but once I get there, it’s time to get to work!

Because we share our building with our church, every Thursday morning after Wednesday night service—and every Monday after Sunday service—we transform the space back into preschool.

And today I had one of my favorite little helpers along for the ride. 🥹❤️ Some mornings my grandson comes early so his mama can get to school, and some afternoons he gets to tag along with Gigi after preschool too. Today was one of those days.

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes—setting up, taking down, resetting and doing it all over again—but I wouldn’t trade this little preschool life for anything. ❤️

Day two of preschool—and I think we’re starting to find our rhythm. ❤️

The kids are already learning our routines, centers went really well, and I officially know everybody’s name! 😂

One of today’s highlights was introducing Bible yoga with a local friend who’s a yoga instructor. The kids had so much fun with it, and I loved getting to add something new to our day.

After preschool, though, my day was definitely not over. 😂 I came home to take care of the dogs and puppies, went back for my after-school kids, then reset our preschool space for Wednesday night church.

Tonight I taught women’s Bible study, came home, and took care of the dogs and puppies all over again.

It’s been a really good day. Getting back into real life after vacation isn’t bad—it’s just physically exhausting. 😂 But KinderThrive is settling in, the kids are doing great, and I’m really happy with how our year is starting. ❤️

FIRST DAY of preschool = SUCCESS! 🍎❤️

Getting there was another story. 😂 Missing keys, walking to work with a giant shark, an AC leak, technology problems… and that was all BEFORE the kids arrived!

But the minute those sweet kiddos walked through the door, everything fell into place and we had such a GREAT first day. 🥰

Then it was straight from preschool ➡️ 9 puppies ➡️ the vet ➡️ more chaos. 🐶😂

Everyone is healthy, three puppies went home to their new families, and this preschool owner is officially running on EMPTY. 😂❤️

What a day. Tomorrow, we do it again!

Well… that was a quick transition. 😂🛳️➡️🍎 Yesterday I was cruising, today I’m getting KinderThrive ready, and TOMORROW we welcome our preschoolers for the first day of a brand-new school year! ❤️ Come along for the real day-to-day life of owning and operating a little preschool. 🐝
