Tonight’s Meet the Teacher Open House was a SUCCESS! 🍎✏️📚

Our classrooms were full of excitement as we welcomed lots of new faces and got some of the sweetest hugs from our returning KinderThrive kiddos! 💛

The kids had so much fun completing our Open House Scavenger Hunt and earning a special prize when they finished. 🎉 School supplies were dropped off, families explored the classrooms, teachers connected with parents, and some of our little ones were NOT ready to go home—they were ready to stay and start school tonight! 😂🥰

We’re also excited to introduce a wonderful addition to our KinderThrive team—Ms. Sue Watkins! 🎉 Ms. Sue is a local educator who spent 44 years serving as a teacher assistant at Denton Elementary and has continued working with preschoolers over the past couple of years. Her experience, love for children, and many years of serving families in our community are going to make her such an asset to KinderThrive. We are so thankful to have her! ❤️

Tonight made us even more excited for the year ahead. The classrooms are ready. The teachers are ready. And judging by tonight…the kids are DEFINITELY ready! 🥹🍎

Yesterday’s adventures at KinderThrive were full of exploring, creating, playing, and learning! 🌿☀️💦

We headed outside for some woods exploring, put our new kid-sized rakes from Tractor Supply to work, splashed and played at the water tables, and brought the creativity inside with beading using pipe cleaners. 🧹🍃🫧📿

What looks like “just play” is really so much more—building fine and gross motor skills, strengthening little hands, encouraging curiosity, practicing teamwork, problem-solving, and learning about the world around us.

These are the kind of days we love at KinderThrive—little hands busy, little minds learning, and childhood being enjoyed! 💛

🎒✨ AFTER-SCHOOL CARE IS BACK AT KINDERTHRIVE! ✨🎒

We’re excited to offer After-School Care for Denton Elementary students for the upcoming school year!

After a full day of learning, children need a place where they can relax, have fun, spend time with friends—and get a little help finishing up that homework too! 💛

Our afternoons will include:

📚 Homework help
🎲 Games & activities
🎨 Crafts & creative fun
🧩 Free-choice play
🤝 Time with friends
🌤️ Outdoor play when weather permits
✨ And much more!

📅 Our program will follow the Davidson County Schools calendar.

At KinderThrive, we want after-school care to feel like a place children look forward to coming to at the end of their school day—a place to learn, play, make friends, and just be kids!
