Julie Wright – Community Health Improvement (CHI) Program Manager -- Texas Health Resources

Julie is the Denton County Program Manager for the Texas Health Resources Community Health Improvement program. She has been a community health educator/diabetes educator since 2011. Julie has developed and implemented health education programs for community groups of all ages. She is experienced in grant writing, grant management, data collection and data analysis. Prior to this, Julie served as a Family & Consumer Sciences classroom teacher for 13 years where she served as advisor for Family, Career, & Community Leaders of America members on project development and implementation.

Looking for activities that help young people build confidence, develop new skills, make friends, and have fun? Join us for the Denton County 4-H Open House and discover all that 4-H has to offer!

Whether your child is interested in animals, science, robotics, cooking, photography, public speaking, leadership, community service, the outdoors, or countless other hands-on projects, there’s a place for them in 4-H.
At the Open House, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Meet local 4-H members and volunteers
Explore our clubs and project areas
Learn about competitions, camps, leadership opportunities, and community service

Ask questions and find the club that’s the best fit for your family
This event is perfect for families who are new to 4-H or simply want to learn more before joining.

Already a 4-H member? We’d love your help! Current members and clubs are invited to host display tables showcasing their favorite projects and sharing their 4-H experiences with prospective families. It’s a great opportunity to inspire others and help them discover all that 4-H has to offer.
