Our office will be closed from 10:45-5:00pm on Thursday September 10th. Our extension staff will be out of the office for professional development. We will resume normal business hours on Friday September 11.

September Volunteer of the Month: Jason & Ashley Davis

This month, we are proud to recognize Jason and Ashley Davis as our Volunteers of the Month. As dedicated volunteers with the Silver Saddle 4-H Club, Jason and Ashley have made 4-H a family affair and continually look for ways to support youth both within their club and across Denton County.

Ashley serves as a Club Manager and leads several 4-H projects, giving her time to help members explore new interests and grow through hands-on experiences. Jason serves as a Shooting Sports Coach, sharing his knowledge and passion while helping youth build skills, confidence, and responsibility. With two daughters involved in 4-H, the Davis family truly embraces everything the program has to offer.

Their involvement doesn't stop at the club level. Jason and Ashley regularly step up to support county-wide programs and events, including 4-H Camp and Food & Nutrition activities. They are also always looking for new opportunities to promote 4-H and help more families in our community discover the program.
We are grateful for the passion, time, and energy Jason and Ashley bring to Denton County 4-H. Thank you both for being willing to step up wherever you are needed and for the difference you continue to make for our 4-H members and families.

We have over 70 booths, speakers, and activities - a collaborative effort of the Denton County Master Gardener Association, Elm Fork Chapter Texas Master Naturalist, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and Denton County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.
