Dr. Wooten is a 2008 TWU Ph.D. Kinesiology graduate. He is currently an Associate Professor in Exercise Physiology and Assistant Chair for the Department of Applied Health at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. His research interests include: cholesterol metabolism, inflammation, and lifestyle modifications.

Dr. Deemer is a 2017 TWU Ph.D. Kinesiology graduate. She is currently an Assistant Professor at University of North Texas in the Department of Kinesiology. Her research interests include: obesity, metabolism, metabolic disease, health disparities, and adipose tissue remodeling.
