Denton Dash Family 5k The Denton Dash Family 5k is on Saturday April 25, 2026.

💃🕺Tomorrow (Thursday) is our Family Fun Night Dance from 5:30-7:00! We will have a DJ, kettle corn, and glow prizes!

🍟🍔Also! Stop at Sonic tomorrow from 4:00-8:00 and tell them you’re with Borman! Our PTA gets the proceeds.

❄️ Inclement Weather Update 4 ❄️

Denton Independent School District will be closed on Tuesday, January 27. All before- and after-school activities are also canceled.

Guidance from Denton County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service indicates that freezing precipitation, combined with prolonged below-freezing temperatures, will prevent conditions from fully improving. As a result, hazardous road conditions are expected to persist across the district.

Coaches, activity directors, and program sponsors will communicate directly with students and families regarding schedule changes related to before- and after-school activities.

The district will continue to monitor weather conditions in coordination with Denton County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service. The next update will address school operations and instruction for Wednesday, January 28.

Updates will continue to be shared through Denton ISD’s automated notification system, local media, and official district channels.
