We want to take a moment and celebrate our FFA reporter!

Jordan participated in the calf scramble last week and caught a calf! She will be given a certificate that she can use to purchase a steer or heifer to show throughout the next show season.

We also want to take a moment and applaud her for her initiative yesterday as she stepped up and competed as the sole member of the floriculture team.

Way to lead Jordan!

📣 REMINDER: Denton ISD families, Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6 will be regular school days for all students and staff. These dates will serve as the district’s built-in weather make-up days, recovering instructional time lost during January’s weather event.

Regular schedules will be followed both days. For high school campuses and Calhoun Middle School, April 3 will be a “B” day and April 6 will be an “A” day. 📅

Days like today are why we became Ag teachers! We took a great group of students to Tarleton to compete in: horse judging, livestock judging, veterinary medicine, floriculture, poultry judging, and entomology. Although we didn’t place in the awards these students showed their commitment and dedication by giving their best! So proud of them all!
