Wow! What incredible programs we have at Guyer! Congratulations to our Guyer High School Orchestra students!
CONGRATULATIONS to all the students who traveled to Austin to perform in the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Competition. The students listed below earned Superior ratings for Gold Medals, or Excellent ratings for a Silver Medal.
Special shout out to sophomore bassist Mark Eads for earning the coveted Outstanding Performer of the Day award from his judge (only seven other Guyer orchestra students have ever earned this honor in the history of the school.)

It’s been an incredible race with EP Rayzor PTA, but on the last day of school, the true champion has emerged! YOU made this happen! EP is a worthy foe, and ultimately, all of our teachers, students, and parents win with involvement and resources to help every child reach their potential, whether they’re a Wildcat or a Wolf (who will grow up to be a Wildcat 😉). Thank YOU for making it happen!

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO! Share with family & friends BEFORE they get to the coliseum entrance and have to turn around.
🐾 UNT Coliseum Info Line: 940-565-2557
🐾 We’ll all be coming from similar directions - expect traffic! Ryan High graduates at 3 PM, so they should be clearing out before we get there.
🐾Ask your senior which side they’re sitting on (facing the stage), and what row they’re in.
🐾Plan with your grad a spot to meet after the ceremony. They won’t have their phones.
🐾 2025 parents told us it’s too dark to take pictures after the ceremony outside. Plan to do it before the ceremony.
🐾 Fatheads/sticks with grad pics are considered signs and are NOT allowed.
🐾 Bouquets ARE allowed; vases & bags of flowers are not.
🐾 If you have difficulty with crowds or walking, you may consider leaving the graduation a few minutes early. It gets VERY crowded as family & graduates try to reach each other.
🐾 Savor the moment! Let it be a happy time to celebrate your graduate!
