Did you know that UIL has a new rule that all Texas public schools must use the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) to monitor heat and manage outdoor practices for student-athletes and marching band members?
The 2023 Denton ISD Bond package allowed the building of multipurpose facilities at the high schools. This summer Guyer’s facility opened and has already been utilized by youth football, Crownover & Harpool athletics, Guyer football, Guyer Band, and the Guyer Silverados! What started months ago came to fruition this morning: Guyer Zone Convocation! Schools, PTAs, and community partners came together to welcome our Guyer Zone staff back to school! We’re thankful for local businesses who contributed and all the volunteer hours that went into making this morning a festive return to the classroom. Thank you!
