The UNT Vocal Jazz Department has been a thriving part of the Jazz Division within the College of Music for over 35 years.
It is comprised of between 30 - 35 students pursuing Bachelor’s, Masters, and Doctoral level degrees in jazz voice.

Featuring 14 vocalists and a world-class rhythm section, the group performs cutting-edge vocal jazz repertoire with close harmony, improvisation, and big band energy. Third Street and West End put on a fantastic Spring Concert! 🎤
The concert featured a wide variety of performances, including full group numbers, small ensembles, rhythm section features, and an exciting finale with both ensembles combined into a 28-member group complete with a double rhythm section!
These groups have grown tremendously throughout the year, and none of this would have been possible without the leadership and dedication of their directors, Quinn Cameron and Natalie Holsey.
Another huge thank you goes to for making all of our concerts possible! We could not do what we do without you!! Thanks for making our music come alive!!

We are SO excited for Jazz Singers to have one final performance for the year at the coolest listening/dining venue in the DFW area: Windmills Craftworks! If you haven’t been there yet and/or want to enjoy an evening of spectacular food, drink, and jazz, please join us next Friday, May 15 for our 7 pm show! Reservations highly recommended.
