Fair week is always a special week for the 4-H program, members, and their families. 4-H youth work tirelessly throughout the year to learn about and prepare their projects for exhibition at the fair. Whether it’s a market animal, a decorated cake, photography, or woodworking, many hours are dedicated to learning, growing, and mastering new found skills. I am so incredibly proud of all the Caroline County 4-Hers for their achievements this past week. Some were met with triumph, and some with defeat. But all were gracious to and supportive of one another. This 4-H Educator is beaming with pride!
And none of the above happens without the Caroline County 4-H village. Thank you to the village— the Fair Board, 4-H volunteers, parents, grandparents, family, friends, community members, stakeholders, alumni, etc. that devote so much time, resources, and support to provide these 4-H experiences and memories. Your support is priceless and there are never enough thank you’s for all you do for these kids. Trust me, they will never forget it!
