We're back with this week's availability for parking passes for the 2026-2027 school year. If you're having trouble purchasing a permit, please let us know. This will be the final social media post update for this information.

A few tips and reminders:
- If you're emailing us about your account, include your student ID number so we can help you faster!
- Please include whether you're a resident or a commuter.
- Please let us know if we can help you with parking or transportation around campus.
- Permits will be fully virtual this upcoming year, so your license plate will be your parking permit -- meaning that your license plate HAS to be accurate when you input it on the parking portal.

Meet Angella! 👋 She regularly travels from Old Town Lewisville to the University of North Texas using only DCTA transit services.

Her trip starts with a GoZone to Old Town Station, continues on the A-train to the Downtown Denton Transit Center, and finishes with a bus ride straight to campus.

Thanks for sharing your story, Angella! 🦅💚

More parking. Same commitment to improving your experience.

While campus was quieter this summer, our team was hard at work making improvements for the fall semester. Lots 32 and 40 have both been significantly expanded—roughly doubling their size to provide more parking spaces for the UNT community.

These projects are part of our ongoing efforts to improve parking availability and prepare for a successful academic year. We can't wait to welcome everyone back and put these new spaces to use.

See you soon, Mean Green!

Parking citations and towing can be confusing but understanding the process can help you avoid unnecessary headaches.

In this episode of Moms of Transit, our three Transportation Services directors - Nikki, Mandy and Briana - sit down to answer some of the most common questions about citations and towing. They cover when vehicles may be towed due to citations, how towing works on game day, and what students, faculty and staff should know before parking on campus.

Have a question we didn't cover? Drop it in the comments or send us a DM. We're always happy to help clarify and point you in the right direction.
