💩 🍊💩 There is a pungent STENCH in the air around Denton today that inspired us to remind you the last day to register to vote is on October 5th.

It is not hyperbole to say the future of Denton, TX, your freedoms and our bad ass club all hang in the balance.

Did you know that if you live in the UNT or TWU you are eligible to vote in Denton county? Here is some more info courtesy of Texas Tribune

How do I check my voter registration in Texas?

You can check to see if you’re registered and verify your information through the Texas Secretary of State’s website.

You’ll need one of the following three combinations to log in:

Your Texas driver’s license number and date of birth.

Your first and last names, date of birth and county you reside in.

Your date of birth and Voter Unique Identifier, which appears on your voter registration certificate.

How do I update my voter registration with an address or name change?

You can report an address or name change online. You should do this if you’ve moved since the last time you voted, especially if you have moved to a different county or political district or have legally taken a different name.

Who can register to vote in Texas?

U.S. citizens in Texas can register to vote in the election if they are 18 or older or if they will be 18 by Election Day.

Citizens in the state cannot register to vote if they have been convicted of a felony and are still serving a sentence, including parole or probation, or if they have been deemed mentally incapacitated in court. Here are more specifics on eligibility.

Eligible people experiencing homelessness can vote, as long as they provide on their registration an address and description for where they are residing, such as a shelter or a street intersection. If needed, their mailing address can be different, but a P.O. Box address is usually not considered a residence address in Texas.

Students studying in Texas who are from other states can choose to register to vote in the state with their dorm or Texas address.

This show is an improvised musical that follows a goody two shoes small town couple who take a very wrong (or maybe perfectly right) turn and stumble into a bizarre, otherworldly cast of characters. With puppets, a cult classic horror flair, and singing. This show leans into the seductive absurdity of transformation, self identity, and giving into your deepest desires. Designed for those who appreciate camp, chaos, and cult-classic energy, Rocky Horror Puppet Show invites you to cheer, laugh, and maybe even question what’s pulling your strings.

Puppet Bucket is an award-nominated puppetry troupe bringing bold, story-driven theatre to life, one puppet at a time. We combine classic puppet charm with quick witted, narrative improv. We were honored with a B. Iden Payne Award nomination in 2025 and an Austin Chronicle Best of Arts and Entertainment 2026 nomination, both celebrating our distinct voice in Austin’s theatre scene. Nocturnal Creatures Troupe presents: The Unsolved Mystery of Ms. Patsy Climb
An absurd puppet musical exploring the lives of three misfits on their quest to make it as street performers in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The Trio gets into all sorts of shenanigans, from getting addicted to “Crusties Hotdog Stand” , to refuting allegations of eating an ex lovers head. The story is narrated by Detective Bark, who uses his keen senses and logical mind to sniff out clues from the baffling events that have occurred. Will the creatures find fame? Or will struggles between the bandmates stop them from getting picked up by a label? Is their lead glockenspiel a blood thirsty diva? Will Detective Bark be able to crack this case wide open, and earn the title “GOOD BOY”? All these questions answered and more in The Nocturnal Creatures Show!!
