A little behind-the-scenes look at where Mean Green football comes to life. 🏈
Yesterday, a group from UNT Engineering had the opportunity to tour the UNT football stadium and get an inside look at the spaces that help make game day happen.
A huge thank you to Ava Jestis for being an incredible tour guide and to Kayli Manypenny for helping make the experience possible for our group.
We’re grateful for the chance to connect with our UNT community beyond Discovery Park, and after getting a look around the stadium, we’re officially ready for football season.
See you at DATCU Stadium. Go Mean Green! 🟢🦅

Artificial intelligence has the potential to transform healthcare, but its greatest impact depends on systems that are trustworthy, transparent and designed to support human decision making.
We are proud to celebrate UNT College of Engineering faculty member Dr. Yunhe Feng on receiving National Science Foundation funding as part of a collaborative research project led by Tuskegee University.
The project, Excellence in Research: Trustworthy AI for Healthcare: Evidence-Grounded, Compliant, Human-in-the-Loop, brings together researchers to advance AI solutions that are evidence grounded, compliant and centered on human expertise to improve healthcare outcomes.
The collaborative award totals $699,999, with $340,000 supporting research at UNT. Dr. Feng serves as Lead Principal Investigator for the UNT portion of the project alongside Co-Principal Investigator Dr. Kewei Sha.
This investment reflects our commitment to advancing research that addresses complex societal challenges while preparing the next generation of engineers and researchers to shape the future of trustworthy artificial intelligence.
One Stop is officially joining the villa.
Starting this fall, engineering students can get help with admissions, financial aid, registration, billing, and more without leaving Discovery Park.
Looks like your type on paper just became convenience.

Some of the most valuable lessons in construction don't happen in the classroom. They happen on the jobsite.
For UNT Construction Management student Carter Harris, an internship with Linbeck has provided an opportunity to experience the day to day realities of managing a large scale construction project while learning alongside industry professionals.
From conducting safety walks and quality inspections to observing project coordination and problem solving in action, Carter is gaining the hands on experience that bridges the gap between the classroom and the field.
"Being an Engineer Intern at Linbeck has been transformational to my knowledge as a construction professional."
Experiential learning is a cornerstone of the UNT College of Engineering's Construction Management program. By combining classroom instruction with industry partnerships, students graduate with practical experience, professional connections and the confidence to contribute from day one.
We're proud to see Carter representing UNT during his internship with Linbeck and look forward to seeing where his career takes him.
