TWU - School of Health Promotion and Kinesiology's legacy of innovation and success continues! Our talented kinesiology undergrads took top honors at a NASA-sponsored contest, making it the 4th time a TWU team has triumphed in this statewide challenge. 🚀🎉

We recently wrapped up an incredible time as an exhibitor at the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) 2023 Summer Clinic. Engaging with exceptional coaches, exchanging ideas, and showcasing our offerings to empower their coaching experience was truly rewarding. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and made the event memorable!

spent a few days at the National Space Society's International Space Development Conference and it was a game-changer! Dr. Rhett Rigby and Hunter Alvis presented wearable technology to a diverse audience and Dr. Mindy Menn curated a table experience to showcase our programs and projects.

Drs. Menn and Rigby capped the event with the honor of meeting Colonel Eileen Collins. Col. Collins, USAF (Retired) holds many distinctions, including the United States Air Force's first female flight instructor, a NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration astronaut, the first female pilot of a U.S. space shuttle, and the first woman to command a shuttle mission! As a Coaching program graduate, Haley Colwell is changing lives and changing the world in Canyon ISD.
