The University of North Texas Trombone Studio Trombone professors are Tony Baker, Natalie Mannix, Steve Menard and Nick Finzer.

The UNT Trombone Studio is one of the largest trombone programs in the world, with as many as 75 trombonists pursuing bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees in trombone performance, music education, jazz studies, conducting and composition.

'ROCKIN’ AT DATCU' - TOM “BONES” MALONE PERFORMS WITH GREEN BRIGADE MARCHING BAND: University of North Texas alum Tom “Bones” Malone to Headline “Rockin’ at DATCU” Sept. 13 vs. Washington State performing the National Anthem and then will join the University of North Texas Green Brigade for the halftime show. Malone is known for appearances with The Blues Brothers appearances on the David Letterman Show and for dozens of recordings.
