Remember, all students must turn in their Library items and clear their debts by next Friday, May 19th. Thank you to those parents who have checked on their students’ accounts.

If lost books are returned in good condition, no money is owed. Late books are no longer charged fines. Money is only needed if an item must be replaced due to damage or loss.

Fight against Summer Slide! Did you see the interview with James Patterson and his son? Keep the kids reading all summer. Let them read what they like. Buy or check out books that have movie or TV tie-ins. Many video games have stories and guides that go along with them. Maybe your kids prefer nonfiction, like history, science, etc. Get them interested in magazines and newspapers. Have them check out all the eBooks on our Library website. Check out audiobooks and listen to them as a family on car trips! Need recommendations? Contact me at this email: [email protected]. I will try to answer often, even during the summer.

Book Club will meet again on Friday, April 24th.

BOGO Book Fair arrives next week!! We’ll set up on Thursday, the 13th. We’ll be open for customers April 18-24, Tuesday – Monday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. If parents wish to buy at the fair, and those hours won’t work, please contact the librarian by phone or email. BOGO is Buy One, Get One Free*! (*the ‘one free’ is of equal or lesser value)

Make sure your library account is problem free. Turn in all overdue books and pay for those you can’t find. If you pay, and a book is returned within a year of paying, we can refund your money. Thank you for clearing your accounts of issues.

LIBRARY OPEN LATE for Students until finals
The library will be open late – until 4 pm from Wed. the 7th to Wed. the 14th – to be available for students finishing up projects.
The computers will be available, as well as some limited school supplies.

If students need to come into the library in the morning, from 7:45 – 8:20, they need a pass from their teacher or they can get one from the library staff.

Also, students MUST arrange for transportation to pick them up by 4:10 at the very latest.

The False Prince Trailer This is a trailer for the book The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen. If you haven't read this yet, I highly recommend it!

Student Library Advisory Committee (SLACkers) t-shirt order forms are due Monday, October 10th!

We can NOW make IDs in the library. Please bring $3. to purchase a replacement or spare ID. Lanyards are $1 or $2. Remember, 75 cent badge covers prevent IDs from breaking off of your lanyards.

The Student PTA will meet Monday, Sept. 12, in the library at 3:30. We will pick officers and set our goals. If you want to make a difference at McMath, come join us. You must make arrangements for your ride to pick you up by 4:15.
