DETERMINED. RESILIENT. UNITED. 🫡

This week, Det 835 continued to push through every challenge thrown our way.

Wednesday PT took place in the dark, but that did not stop our cadets from showing up and getting after it. 💪

Thursday brought even more challenges with flooding throughout Denton. Despite the circumstances, we adapted and continued the mission. During LLAB, cadets stayed inside and completed a Hot Wash with their flights and GLPs. The Hot Wash gave cadets an opportunity to provide honest feedback, motivate one another, and identify ways we can continue to strengthen our flights and improve as a detachment.

At PT, cadets competed in another flight competition, putting teamwork, motivation, and determination to the test. 🏆

We also took time to recognize some outstanding cadets and flights:

🏅 AS100 Cadet of the Month: C/Gubanski
🏅 AS200 Cadet of the Month: C/Doan
🏅 POC Cadet of the Month: C/Amrhein
🏆 PFT Flight: Lima Flight
📚 Honor Flight: November Flight

Congratulations to everyone recognized this week! Your hard work and commitment continue to strengthen Det 835.

No matter the circumstances, we keep pushing forward.

Det 835 AFROTC TW-06 ✅ -

Another week of putting leadership into practice.

Cadets sharpened their skills through GLPs, drill, and a knowledge quiz while continuing to build the discipline and attention to detail expected of future Air Force officers.

For PT this week, we honored MSgt John A. Chapman with a memorial workout, remembering his courage and sacrifice in service to our nation.

Through ORIs and every training event, we continue to hold ourselves—and each other—to high standards. Leadership starts with accountability, teamwork, and the commitment to always be better than we were yesterday.

Train to lead. Lead to serve. 🇺🇸

Happy Birthday 79th birthday Air Force! 🎂

It was another great week of building the leaders of tomorrow.

This week, cadets got to show out in their fitness assessment, sharpened their leadership skills through GLPs and continued to develop precision, discipline, and teamwork through drill practice.

We also took time to celebrate 79 years of the United States Air Force and honor the legacy of Airmen who have served before us. From the lessons we learn today to the standards we uphold tomorrow, every week is another opportunity to grow as leaders.

Make sure to see how Space Force was looking especially sharp this week with their new patches!!

Aim High. Fly-Fight-Win.

This week, we reflected on the meaning of service and leadership. During LLAB, our cadets had the opportunity to learn from Chief Scott Green, Chief Kenneth Hedges and Chief Tony Salas, gaining insight from leaders who have dedicated their careers to serving their communities.

-Never Forget-
As we honored the lives and sacrifices remembered during 9/11 week, we were reminded of the courage, selflessness, and commitment that define true service.

Although weather prevented us from holding our 9/11 Stair Climb, our flights still put their teamwork and competitive spirit to the test with a flight PT competition.

Train to lead. Lead to serve. 🇺🇸
