☀️ Summer meals are almost here!

Denton ISD Child Nutrition will be serving free breakfast and lunch for kids 18 and under at select campuses around the district.

No sign up is needed. Just bring your student by any participating campus to eat with us and enjoy a healthy meal this summer.

Thank you L'Amitié Bistro for providing such a lovely venue for our Gratitude Reception for our Groundhog Day Gala Auction Donors. While May-Cember may have prevented many of our donors from attending, please know that we are so very grateful for each and every one of you!

The Denton Public School Foundation has always believed in the power of teachers and what they bring to the classroom. In 1995-1996, we awarded our first grants to teachers for a total of $3995, and over the next 30 years, we have awarded $2,128,088 in Grants to Teachers and Staff Scholarships!
Last night, the DPSF Board of Directors voted to add a new program, with initial funding of $15,000, to support those entering the teaching profession for the first time, with an automatic $150 grant.
The DPSF Directors also voted to continue our New Hire Grant Program, allocating proceeds from Lucky Lou's Denton Taco Fest and adding additional funds to create a pool of $15,000. This is an application-based grant program for those hired by Denton ISD over the summer who miss our full grant program in the spring.

Today is the day! Come see us at Denton Taco Fest at Lucky Lou's from 2-7! Funds from this event will support the teachers of Denton ISD!

On Wednesday, the Denton Public School Foundation awarded $277,430 in scholarships to 227 proud members of the Class of 2026! This is one of our favorite celebrations, and we are honored to make it possible with the support of local businesses, community groups, and individuals who believe in the future of Denton ISD students as much as we do.
