For the past 14 years, Jackie has served as Executive Director of the Denton Public School Foundation. In her tenure, she has overseen millions of dollars in classroom grants, teacher support, and scholarships that have touched every single school in our district. Her tireless dedication extends into every corner of our community:🍎 4+ Decades of Commitment: Dedicated over 40 years to supporting local public education. 🎓 Transformative Foundation Leadership: Guided 14 years of district-wide scholarship and grant funding. 🤝 Grassroots Community Servant: Led local PTAs, served on the Denton ISD PTA Council, and co-chaired the 2007 Citizens Bond Committee. 💙 Proud Parent: Celebrates being the mother of four Denton ISD graduates.

Your Gold Card will be available for pickup starting August 3 at the Denton ISD Central Offices, Stephens Building (1307 N. Locust St.). No cost. No catch. Just our way of saying thank you.

On July 18 and July 25, Denton ISD's Back to School Fair will set up thousands of students to start the year off right, and people like you make it all possible.

Denton ISD Child Nutrition will be serving free breakfast and lunch for kids 18 and under at select campuses around the district.

No sign up is needed. Just bring your student by any participating campus to eat with us and enjoy a healthy meal this summer.

The Denton Public School Foundation has always believed in the power of teachers and what they bring to the classroom. In 1995-1996, we awarded our first grants to teachers for a total of $3995, and over the next 30 years, we have awarded $2,128,088 in Grants to Teachers and Staff Scholarships!
Last night, the DPSF Board of Directors voted to add a new program, with initial funding of $15,000, to support those entering the teaching profession for the first time, with an automatic $150 grant.
The DPSF Directors also voted to continue our New Hire Grant Program, allocating proceeds from Lucky Lou's Denton Taco Fest and adding additional funds to create a pool of $15,000. This is an application-based grant program for those hired by Denton ISD over the summer who miss our full grant program in the spring.
