Congratulations Daisy!!
Daisy Woodring earned her Master of Science in chemistry from Texas Woman's University during Friday's graduation ceremony. She is the first Texas Womanβs Pioneer to be named a recipient of the NCAA Todayβs Top 10 Award, which recognizes former student-athletes for their exceptional athletic and academic achievements, as well as their contributions to their campuses and communities.
During her time with the Texas Woman's Pioneers' gymnastics team, Daisy earned multiple All-America honors on the vault and beam. She was also named the Midwest Independent Conference Athlete of the Year and the conference Woman of the Year in 2024.
Beyond athletics, Daisy excelled as a graduate student, building a strong research portfolio, leading with integrity, and making a global difference.
Now, as she steps into her next chapter, Daisy plans to serve with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in the Denton area. Congratulations, Daisy, on all youβve achieved and the incredible difference you continue to make!
