SPINNING OUR WAY TO GREAT ATTENDANCE!

At McMath, we know that every day matters! Being at school, arriving on time, and being ready to learn gives students more opportunities to grow academically, build friendships, participate in activities, and make the most of their middle school experience.

So, we’re making attendance something to celebrate!

Each week during lunch, we will spin The Wheel to randomly select 5 students from each grade level to win a prize!

Here’s how students get their name on the wheel:

Perfect attendance for the week OR No tardies for the week (Depending on the week)

And the best part? The wheel STARTS OVER every week! This gives students a fresh opportunity to get their name on the wheel and encourages everyone to maintain or improve their attendance.

Our goal for the 2026–27 school year is to achieve an overall attendance rate of 96% or higher!

And we're off to a great start!

After the first six weeks of school, McMath’s attendance rate is 96.4%—already above our goal!

Thank you to our families for helping make regular attendance a priority. Every day, every class, every Tiger matters!

"As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, we've been talking about different cultural aspects and influential people. Today we briefly talked about Vicente Fernandez, an icon of música ranchera. Students noticed his mariachi hat and asked if they could try on the Mexican hats that I have in the classroom" 🎉🎉🎉
