What an incredible day at McMath Cub Camp! 🐯💙

Today, we had the privilege of welcoming our newest Tigers to campus! Students followed their class schedules, explored the building, completed eight fun Tiger Challenges, met new friends, and got a glimpse of what life at McMath is all about.

A huge thank you to our outstanding 8th grade mentors for leading the way with kindness, encouragement, and Tiger pride. You helped make our newest students feel welcomed and supported throughout the day.

Thank you to our amazing McMath Cheerleaders for bringing the energy and excitement, and to our incredible teachers and staff who volunteered their time to help with drop-off, pick-up, guiding students, leading challenges, and making today a success. A special shout-out to our 6th grade teachers who had the opportunity to meet many of their future students and begin building those important relationships.

Students also got a sneak peek at our dress code expectations with a fun skit performed by the McMath admin team! We shared plenty of laughs while helping our newest Tigers learn what to expect before the first day of school.

We wrapped up the day with one of the best traditions of all as our McMath Cheerleaders taught the Class of 2033 their new Tiger chant! The energy in the gym was incredible, and it was the perfect way to officially welcome our newest Tigers into the McMath family.

Parents: If your child came home with a Cub Camp packet today, be sure to ask them about their Tiger Challenges, the dress code skit, their new Tiger chant, and all the memories they made today!

Congratulations to the Class of 2033—you came to Cub Camp as Cubs, and you left as official McMath Tigers! We can’t wait to see you back on the first day of school.

Congratulations to our runner ups in the McMath Co****le tournament, Ms. Coker and Ms. Caster!

These two new McMath staff members became instant heroes and were fan favorites in the championship game as EVERYONE was hoping they would knock off Mr. Moore’s team!

It’s never too early to start spreading the word! Encourage your students to begin thinking creatively about what their culture means to them through dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, or visual arts.

Every child has a unique story to tell, and Reflections gives them the opportunity to express their voice, celebrate their identity, and share their creativity.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing McMath PTA for treating our staff to such a delicious breakfast this morning! 💙🐯

From the savory breakfast casseroles to the fresh fruit, warm coffee, and tasty pastries, everything was absolutely wonderful. Our teachers and staff felt so appreciated as we kicked off another great day together.

The food was so good that we got busy enjoying it… and only remembered to take two pictures! 😂📸

Thank you, PTA, for always finding ways to love on and support our McMath staff. Your generosity and encouragement mean so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do for our school community.

After an intense tournament full of great throws, lots of laughs, and a little friendly competition, we have officially crowned our McMath Co****le Champions! 🏆

🥇 Principal Brett Moore & 👑 our incredible secretary, Queen Smith!

Now… we’re not saying the tournament was rigged… 🤔😂 …but we are asking for an investigation into how the principal ended up with such an amazing partner! 😉

In all seriousness, thank you to everyone who played, cheered each other on, and helped make our first day back so much fun. It’s moments like these that remind us how special our McMath family is. Here’s to a fantastic school year filled with teamwork, laughter, and making memories together!
