Wesleyan Child Development Center A non-profit center for all children and families. We promotes Christian-based principles of living along with developmentally appropriate principles.

Wesleyan Child Development Center is a non-profit center for ALL children and families and promotes Christian-based principles of living along with developmentally appropriate principles. The child care center will provide an environment in which the children learn through their play. We know that heredity and environment are very important to learning during the first five years of a child’s life

. We will help the children develop through social/emotional, trust and self-esteem. The method to be used in the learning experience will be hands on. Any child with specific disabilities or delays will be given more one on one instruction. We know that learning at one’s own pace by incorporating the child’s interest is a major role in the child’s own learning. The teachers will work with therapists, parents, guardians and peers in early education to be role models and coaches for the benefit of the children. The teaching methods for children with disabilities in a typical classroom will be stimulation through imitation of peers. The director, day care board, teachers, children and parental/guardian input will determine what should be taught and how it should be taught.
