Denton ISD Child Nutrition will be serving free breakfast and lunch for kids 18 and under at select campuses around the district.

No sign up is needed. Just bring your student by any participating campus to eat with us and enjoy a healthy meal this summer.

Registration for ALL Rivera Stars is NOW OPEN! We are one day away from summer break and want to remind all families to complete registration as soon as possible for the 2026-2027 school year.

Snapcodes were emailed to returning student families on April 1. Registration and enrollment documents must be completed by Friday, May 29 before our office team leaves for summer break.

Did not receive your Snapcode? Please contact our office for email assistance.

If your child will NOT be returning to Rivera next school year, please call our office and let us know.

These students choose to read whenever they can, share books with peers, explore many genres, and show strong growth as readers. They make meaningful connections, think deeply about what they read, and use strategies to strengthen comprehension.

Our Awards Assemblies were a wonderful time to celebrate the dedication, perseverance, and success of our students. From academic accomplishments to positive character and leadership, each award represents the effort our students have put in all year long.

⏰ We’re here, it’s time for our final half-day reminders of the school year.

Just a reminder that Thursday, May 21 & Friday, May 22 are half days for students.

• Elementary: 12:00 p.m.
• Middle School: 12:30 p.m.
• High School: 1:05 p.m.

Today, our 3rd–5th grade Rivera Stars had the opportunity to hear from Anthony Cotton with YES-Youth Equipped to Succeed. His message was both powerful and purposeful as he spoke to our students about overcoming adversity, believing in themselves, and working hard to achieve their dreams and goals.

Thank you, Mr. Cotton, for pouring into our students, inspiring them to persevere through challenges, and reminding them that their future is full of possibilities. We are grateful for community partners who help empower and uplift our Rivera familia! 💙⭐

Rivera Families, we still have a few yearbooks left for sale!

We have only 30 yearbooks remaining, and once they are gone, they are gone! Yearbooks are $10 each and are a great way to remember all the fun memories from this school year.

If you would like to purchase one, please send $10 cash to the front office as soon as possible.

Today, Ms. Miller’s class celebrated the last full day of school with a charming tea party filled with laughter, friendship, and special memories! Students arrived dressed in their very best and enjoyed an afternoon of adorable triangle sandwiches, delicious sweet treats, and quality time together as they wrapped up an amazing school year.

A huge thank you to the families who joined the celebration and helped make the day so meaningful for our Rivera Stars. 💙🌟💙

Yesterday, we had the honor of welcoming back graduating seniors for a special Senior Walk through the halls of our elementary school one last time before graduation. 🎓⭐

This always inspires our current students to dream big and work hard. We are so proud of all the seniors have accomplished and cannot wait to see what their futures hold.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! Once a Rivera Star, always a Rivera Star! 💙
