Whether you’re a seasoned player or brand new to the game, this tournament is a fun way to support Denton Calvary Academy while enjoying a day of community and friendly competition.
Event Details:
• Doors open at 8 am
• Grab-and-go breakfast options available
• Beginner training session from 8–9 am for anyone wanting to learn the rules
• Tournament begins at 10 am
• Play expected to run until approximately 3 pm (timing may vary based on registration numbers)
What to Bring:
• Bring your own paddle or rent one for $5
• Balls will be provided

💚CLASS OF 2026 SPOTLIGHT💚
Today’s feature is Tyler whose favorite DCA memory is the 2025 Spring Musical, James & The Giant Peach. He enjoyed all the rehearsals and performances. Tyler is especially thankful to his teachers Mr. & Mrs. Atkinson for encouraging him when he was first exploring theatre and fine arts. After graduation, Tyler is looking forward to taking a gap year as he considers his options beyond high school.
Tyler would like to thank his parents and family for teaching him and discipling him throughout his education. His advice to younger classmates is, “Avoid burn out by pacing yourself; don’t sit at home bored but try new things because you have the time now.”

Today’s feature is Seth whose dream job is to play the guitar in a famous band. He is proud to be graduating from DCA, and of his time here, Seth remembers fondly the days when he got to play games and eat cookies.
After graduation, Seth is entering the work force, and he looks forward to being able to support himself while pursuing his interests in music. He appreciates his family for how “fun and chill” they are.

Today’s feature is Sadie wanted to grow up to be a teacher. Now she is headed to UNT to pursue a degree in psychology. She is looking forward to helping people through a career as a psychiatrist. Of her time in high school, Sadie is especially proud of buying her own car.
Sadie appreciates her family because they’re funny. She loves her childhood memories with her twin brother Seth.

💚CLASS OF 2026 SPOTLIGHT💚
Today’s feature is Grace whose dream job is to be an actress. After graduation, she plans to study at UNT to pursue a career in voice acting. Of her time at DCA, Grace says she will always carry with her lessons of how to live life with the Lord’s love. She is most proud of her time spent in theatre, especially the One Act Play.
Grace would like to thank each and every one of her DCA teachers for how they have helped her along the way. She also especially appreciates her mom for how much she shows up for her. Grace looks up to her mom, her Pa, and Mrs. Parker.

💚CLASS OF 2026 SPOTLIGHT💚
Today’s feature is Ava who wanted to grow up to be an actress. Now she is headed to Texas A&M to study business. Of her time at DCA, Ava appreciates her teachers for their willingness to connect with their students. She says she will always carry with her the support of her good friends. Three people she most admires are her mom, Mrs. Myers, and her friend Sadie.
Ava is most proud of serving as Cheer Captain and dedicating her 4 years of high school to cheering. Her advice for younger classmates is, “the only audience you should be performing for is God.”
