Springbok Academy

Some Halloween fun in our last few days! We read Spookly at storytime then made spookly snacks.

After almost thirty years of caring for, loving, and teaching Denton’s children, Springbok Academy will be closing its doors on October 31st. This decision was not an easy one to make. Springbok has been a part of this community happily for so long. We have loved all the children (and parents) we have been privileged to know during this journey. We are proud of their accomplishments and contributions as they have grown.

We thank the families and the community for letting us be a part of their lives.

We did a little STEM work today paired with some literacy for some fun morning activities!

When a line bends a shape begins! Or a letter 😊. It’s our first week back in our fall semester and today in Art we practiced different types of lines. This type of fine motor work is essential for pre writing skills. You can’t write a letter if you can’t make a straight or curvy line. Practice making lines at home. If you need ideas that are super simple and will keep your littles busy while you cook dinner just ask Ms. Liz!

Mythical creatures week! Big Bok made model magic dragon eyes today. They turned out really cool!

We made Pirate B***y slime today and Big Bok made pirate hats too! They are bringing home their treasure today! You are welcome moms and dads😂❤️

I’m glue gunned out but they had fun! We had a little STREAM activity with loose parts making robots today

We made robots with recycled items and loose parts today. The kids had a blast!

A little recycled/reuse art & jewelry activity for our campers!

Today we did a little science/art combo and made some rainsticks!

Frank Buck Zoo,the park and a picnic. Not sure who is more worn out— the campers or the adults 😂🤪 oh and everyone got to feed the giraffe!! That was the best part ♥️
