Great job, Vikings! It was great to see you all rise to the occasion.

Congratulations again to Gerard, Titus, and Korben for their performance at All-Region this weekend! They put in some hard work and it paid off with a beautiful concert. And it’s always fun to see former Vikings on the HS stage.

Great String Fling last night, Ryan Zone! So much fun seeing all the current and former Vikings playing together. Way to go, everyone!

Make plans to attend the Ryan Zone String Fling! It's a fantastic tradition and always fun to see everyone from beginners to the high school seniors performing.

This afternoon we were treated to a delightful performance of a trio for flute, cello, and piano by Nikolai Kapustin. Thanks to Tiffany, James, and Paul for coming out—and thanks to Dr. Harlos for connecting us!

Thanks to the Denton Public School Foundation, Strickland Orchestra has a class set of brand new method books coming our way this year! Can’t wait to dive in and try them out!

Mark your calendars for the SMS Orchestra Beginner Informance! For all students in 1st, 4th, or 7th period Orchestra.

Dress: concert black (black on top, black on bottom, black shoes and socks if wearing)
Students arrive at 5:15 for tuning and warming up
Concert starts at 6pm! It's a quick one, so don't be late!

Wake up, Vikings! School's almost here! Before you know it, we'll all be back together at Strickland Middle School. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone and getting started making some music!
