Today is the deadline for this round of entry into the DATX Flex Program!

The Flex Program is a flexible learning option for eligible students who are able to work independently while staying on track with daily coursework, required live sessions, and academic expectations.

📅 September 23 is the last day to reach out for this current Flex entry window.
If you are interested, contact us today to learn more and see if this may be a good fit for your student.

Congratulations to Leila, one of our 7th-grade students at DATX, for being named the 7th Grade People's Choice Winner for Digital Artwork in the 25th Annual K12 Art Competition!🏆✨

Leila's winning piece, Face of Reptiles, captured the votes of viewers and showcased incredible creativity and artistic talent. Help us celebrate Leila's amazing accomplishment!!👏🎨

Sad news Tigers!

Unfortunately, due to lack of staff availability we will have to cancel our in person outing in the Beaumont area this time. We know our Tigers were looking forward to getting together, and we hope to bring another outing to the Beaumont area in the future!

But the fun doesn’t have to stop! 🎉 This Friday, students can still join us for the virtual outing and connect with the DATX community from home.

Looking for more flexibility while staying on track? The DATX Flex Program may be a great fit!

The Flex Program gives eligible students more flexibility in when and how they complete their coursework, while still maintaining the structure, support, and expectations of DATX. Students can access coursework and class recordings on their own schedule and stay connected with a certified teacher along the way.

Flex students are still expected to log in and engage daily, stay on pace, meet deadlines, maintain grades of 70% or higher, and attend all required live sessions, testing, interventions, and specialized services.

Ideal Flex candidates are self-motivated, organized, able to work independently, and have a history of successful academic performance.

Eligibility is reviewed based on grades, testing data, attendance, engagement, service requirements, and the student’s ability to meet Flex expectations. Some students may receive an individual campus review.

📣 Interested in the Flex Program? Contact us before September 23 to learn more and begin the eligibility review process.

✅ Final participation requires completion of the acknowledgement form and approval process.

Our September outing locations and theme have officially been revealed! Join your fellow DATX Tigers for a day of connection, community, and fun as we celebrate Patriots' Day and Freedom Week by honoring the heroes who serve our communities every day. 🚒🚓🚑

Leadership Starts with a Choice🐾

Tomorrow during our High School Pep Rally, we’re kicking off our focus on the first of the 7 habits in the Leader in Me framework. Habit 1: Be Proactive.

Being proactive means recognizing that we have the power to choose how we respond — even when we can’t control everything happening around us. It’s about pausing before reacting, focusing our energy on what we can influence, and using language that helps us move forward.

Throughout the month, we’ll encourage our students to ask themselves: “What can I do about it?” and take ownership of the choices they make each day. 💪
