You don’t have to be a humanities major to benefit—this course explores how human interests connect with the digital world. You’ll build practical, career-ready skills in areas like AI, data analytics, and digital archives.

Need an advanced elective?
Acting for Non-Majors introduces acting and improvisation techniques that support skills like interviewing, storytelling, and effective communication. This course is designed to help students build confidence, think quickly on their feet, communicate clearly, and collaborate with others. There are no prerequisites, and it is open to all UNT students.
Acting classes designed for non-actors have been shown to:
• Improve public speaking and communication
• Enhance creativity and problem-solving skills
• Increase confidence and adaptability
