Today at 5:30pm in the 35 Ballroom in the Gateway Center INST will hold the Annual Dr. Emile Sahliyeh Lecture and Reception. This year’s timely event will feature Dr. Idean Salehyan who will talk about the future of Iran. Dr. Salehyan is a world-renowned expert in civil conflict and political violence with a great depth of knowledge in Iranian politics and society.

A catered reception will precede and follow Dr. Salehyan’s talk. The event is free and open to all, so we hope that you will attend and bring friends and family!

Join us for a presentation by Dr. Eric Keels from the Baker School at the University of Tennessee to learn about concrete steps that social science majors can take to leverage their academic training and interests to pursue careers in international security. He will also highlight opportunities at the Baker School of Public Policy that help build the skills necessary to succeed in these roles.
