Today at 5:30pm in the 35 Ballroom in the Gateway Center INST will hold the Annual Dr. Emile Sahliyeh Lecture and Reception. This year’s timely event will feature Dr. Idean Salehyan who will talk about the future of Iran. Dr. Salehyan is a world-renowned expert in civil conflict and political violence with a great depth of knowledge in Iranian politics and society.
A catered reception will precede and follow Dr. Salehyan’s talk. The event is free and open to all, so we hope that you will attend and bring friends and family!

Student Projects: From Classroom to Community Impact
Congratulations to the students who are channeling the power of project-based and service-based learning into real-world action! By organizing 3 impactful tabling events in one day, they demonstrated outstanding college-to-career readiness skills and a commitment to global and local change, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

1) Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being (sharing on campus mental health resources)
2) Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production (raising awareness on reducing food waste)
3) Goal 15: Life on Land (promoting LLELA's Natural Pathways Volunteer Program and preserving Texas ecosystems)
