CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT TIP: SET THE TONE EARLY!

One of the best things you can do as a substitute is start the day with clear expectations.

👋 Introduce yourself and greet students.
📋 Review the teacher’s expectations and classroom routines.
🗣️ Be clear about what you expect from students.
⭐ Recognize students when they are doing the right thing.
💪 Stay calm, confident, and consistent throughout the day.

PRO TIP: You don't have to be the loudest person in the room to be in charge. A calm, confident approach can set the tone for a successful day.

Remember, students are looking to you for consistency, structure, and support. You’ve got this!
