What are the S.I.C. Program’s goals?

How would the S.I.C. Program start?
- Start at local classroom level and gather students who are interested in participation
- Use professor’s/student’s networks to gather more students within the U.S.
- Professors offer incentives to get more students to join and participate
- Use the local media to help spread word
- Set up meetings/presentations at your local university to get more students involved
- Hold family/parent conferences to discuss concerns and or important topics
- Send out mass email
- Provide handouts
- Post posters
- Word of mouth

How would the S.I.C. Program continue to grow?
- By using the networks provided

What resources are available to the S.I.C. Program?

What are the rewards/incentives for joining the S.I.C. Program?
- Possible bonus points on a test/project, awarded by professor for involvement
- Being a part of something that could grow to be a nationally recognized program
- Possible media recognition on a local or national level

What would be required of me as a student?
- To provide input, participation and discussion towards changing an existing policy or creating a new policy
- Involvement is a must in order to remain in the organization
- Involvement is a must in order to receive points from the professor
- Possible policy project assigned to the student from the professor as part of grade in a family related class. This project would be reviewed by peers and posted on the network site. The student would then submit this proposal to a policymaker in hopes to push a change to an existing policy or to create a new one.

What would be required of me as a professor?
- To provide information and access to all family related policies and issues
- To continue and spread the organization through word of mouth and networking
- Require students to participate in a policy project, but not require them to sign up with the organization permanently

- To continue education and research in family related fields
- To stay up to date on current family related policies
