Meet our Mavericks room 🐎!

Where we will be learning and growing through fun, hands-on activities! Our little learners will be working on developing their fine motor skills to strengthen those little hands and fingers as they practice and master their pre-writing skills. We will also be learning to recognize and write our first names, while working on mastering our colors and shapes. We asked Ms.Kyra what she looks forward to the most: “ I like to watch them play and have fun!”

This week we celebrated the first day of FALL…even though the Texas heat clearly had other plans! ☀️😂

A big congrats to Ms. Trinitie for winning our Best Dressed this Friday! She understood the fall assignment. 🤎🍂

Today was also bittersweet as it was Ms. Taylan’s last day before maternity leave! 💙👶🏻
We are so excited to meet the newest addition to the TXLC family and are sending her all the love as she begins this exciting new chapter.

Happy Fall, y’all! 🧡

Get to know our Texas Stars ⭐️!

Our Pre-K friends are learning SO much this year to prep for Kindergarten! From mastering letters and sight words to writing their first & last names , recognizing patterns , and exploring addition & subtraction ➕➖. All while building confidence, friendships, creativity, and a love for learning through PLAY! 💛 We asked Mrs. Jessie what she looks forward to most: “I think it's a privilege to be able to watch their confidence grow as they grasp a new concept!”.

We learned about Feelings and Emotions this week!

Our older kiddos learned the importance of being in tune with our feelings and expressing emotions, and our little ones learned the basic emotions and the funny faces that come with it 😁😥😡😱

And of course we ended the week wearing SMILES! 😊

Our FUN-raiser is in full swing!! Check out these new additions to our infant room ✨ Our Buttercup babies are loving their new sleeping arrangements 😴

And we’re not done yet! We are still in need of several more cribs for our older infants and new strollers to help with smoother emergency evacuations.
Thank you for supporting our school 💕
