Now that we are back in the US. Our final days in Italy were all about reflecting on an unforgettable journey. 🇮🇹

Over the past several days, our members have been immersed in the rich history, incredible food, and beautiful culture of Italy. From exploring ancient landmarks and charming towns to tasting authentic local cuisine and learning from the people we met along the way, every experience helped our students grow and see the world from a new perspective.

Travel provides lessons that can't always be learned in a classroom. It builds confidence, creates lifelong friendships, and opens minds to new ideas and traditions. We are grateful for the memories we've made, the experiences we've shared, and the opportunity to represent our chapter abroad.

This trip may be over, but the memories, friendships, and lessons learned will last a lifetime. ❤️✈️

Our last day was filled with breathtaking views, rich history, and unforgettable flavors of Tuscany! We explored the beautiful Castello di Verrazzano, where students learned about its history, vineyards, and the traditions that have been preserved for centuries.

We wrapped up the morning with an olive oil tasting, discovering what makes high-quality olive oil so special. From learning how to identify its unique flavors and aromas to appreciating the craftsmanship behind every bottle, it was a delicious and educational experience.

Our journey continued through the charming medieval town of San Gimignano, known for its stunning towers and picturesque streets. Students enjoyed wandering the city and experiencing a piece of Italy's past.

Travel provides some of the best classrooms, and today was another reminder that learning truly comes to life when we experience it together! And another day ending with gelato x2! 🍨

What better way to wrap up our time in Rome than by becoming chefs for the day! Students learned how to make authentic Italian pizza from scratch and discovered the art of gelato making. Our cooking instructor even taught us how to identify real gelato, so we're officially gelato experts now! Gelato x 2.

On our way to Florence, we experienced another taste of Italian tradition as we learned how sheep's milk is transformed into a variety of products. Nothing goes to waste—they make hard cheeses, fresh ricotta, and even feed the remaining whey back to their flock. The tour concluded with a delicious sheep cheese and local meat tasting, paired with refreshing apple juice.

From history and culture to unforgettable culinary experiences, Italy continues to impress at every stop!

Despite the heat, this group has been absolute troopers exploring Rome over the past three days! They've logged plenty of miles while taking in the incredible history, culture, and beauty that surrounds them at every turn. From standing in the awe-inspiring Colosseum and exploring Vatican City to tossing coins into the Trevi Fountain and climbing the Spanish Steps, they've experienced some of the world's most iconic landmarks firsthand.

There is something truly special about walking the same streets that have been traveled for thousands of years and bringing history to life beyond the pages of a textbook. The memories made, friendships strengthened, and experiences shared will last a lifetime. Rome has certainly given this group plenty to talk about—and we're not done yet!
