What if imagination is not a distraction from learning? Rise pulls some inspiration from Rudolph Steiner and Waldorf education principals ➡️

The first Waldorf Schopl started in 1919 built on the foundations of imagination, artistic expression, music, storytelling, and the buzzword of the year whimsy. While Steiner’s worldview is fixed and dated, the magical elements of his philosophy can flow into this century. In a world filled with hustle culture and instant gratification, his call to slow down and embrace predictable rhythms leave room for childhood and education to exist together. Rise has borrowed what aligns to protect wonder and call in playfulness. ✨

An episode you don't want to miss. Felicia Smith Founder of Rise Learning Pod, and Rise Academy in Sherman, Texas has an excellent story of showing grace and patience as she continues on her mission to educate our children with learning challenges, while fighting a pretentious and unnecessary battle with the City of Sherman.
