Texoma Homeschool Association Texoma Homeschool Association is a nonprofit dedicated to homeschool educational and social engagement! This is a free group to join.

We have three groups that meet weekly:

-Texoma Homeschool Co-op, which meets for 10 consecutive Thursdays in the spring and fall for parent-led enrichment style classes. Semester registration is in late fall for the spring semester and late spring for the fall semester and does require a registration fee. If you would like to be put on the waitlist for our co-op, please fill out the Google form linked here:

-Texoma Nature School Group, which meets weekly on Mondays at Herman Baker Park in Sherman for a nature-based lesson and outdoor free play/exploring. Here is the link to the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1233897683360285/?ref=share&mibextid=S66gvF

"We’ve been having so much fun in Sensory Adventure this semester! So far, we’ve explored finger foam painting, sound matching, made our own wind chimes and clay pinch pots, and created textured hot air balloon crafts.
In the following weeks, we’ll be exploring even more textures with slime, using our sense of smell to discover different scents, and even more hands on art projects!" - Mrs. Hayden

"Artful Minds learned about Georgia O’Keeffe last week! She was one of the first famous American born female artists and knew she wanted to be an artist at 11 years old! We focused on her large flower paintings though she is famous for other styles as well.

Each student previously chose a flower from a book of photographs and tested out soft chalk pastels to see how they worked with blending. This week they created their artwork."
