💚💚 NATIONAL 4-H WEEK AT SLOE! 💚💚
We had a week full of GREEN, goodies, and learning just how COOL the 4-H Club really is!

💚 Monday: The whole school showed off their green for 4-H, and our amazing parents kicked off the week by spoiling our faculty and staff with a Snacks on the Go! 🛒🍿🍫

👕 Tuesday: Our 4-Hers rocked their club shirts, and the faculty and staff enjoyed some delicious dips! 🫕

🍰 Wednesday: The sweet treats kept coming with desserts that made our faculty and staff feel extra special! 🍪🥧🧁(Our parents understood the assignment! 🙌😂)

📚 All week long, we learned fun facts about 4-H, including that some pretty famous people have been 4-H members, too! ⭐ Did you know Julia Roberts, Herschel Walker, and Dolly Parton were all involved in 4-H? Talk about being in good company! 🤩

A HUGE thank-you to our 4-H parents for spoiling our faculty and staff all week long! Your generosity helped make National 4-H Week extra special. 💚

4-H is more than a club. It's about learning, leading, serving, and growing together! Here's to making memories, discovering new adventures, and showing everyone why we're the COOL CLUB! 🚀💚

Congratulations to these amazing ladies! Mrs. Mickie Jones was named Teacher of the Year and Mrs. Theresa Griffin was named Support Staff Worker of the Year! We are proud to honor these ladies who support our staff and help our students succeed!

The LPPS Child Nutrition Department recognizes the amazing people in our schools who show kindness, support, patience, gratitude, teamwork, and a willingness to go above and beyond to make our cafeterias and schools a better place.

This month’s Café Champion nominee is our wonderful volunteer, Mrs. Kathy! She was nominated because our cafeteria team noticed the kindness, support, and encouragement she brings to SLOE.
