The Red Stick Rumble powered by Entergy is an off-season FIRST Robotics Event where FRC, FTC, and FLL teams show off their robots and prepare for the next season. Then you compete in a few regionals where you stay in a hotel room with eight of your closest friends, chew away most of your fingernails during alliance selection, spend thirty minutes frantically searching for the only tool that will keep your frame from falling apart. Afterward, when the build-site is silent and your robot is safely stored for the year, you go home and find that the video-game console just doesn’t seem to do it for you anymore and you silently count down the days to the next Kickoff. The DOW Red Stick Rumble is the our answer to Build Season withdrawal. Coming in August of 2022, the 9th Annual Dow Red Stick Rumble is Louisiana's largest off-season FIRST Robotics Competition event. FRC teams are invited to come and relive the regional experience. Show off your pit, pull out that leftover hair dye, fix that mechanism that always seemed to work on the practice field and cheer as you field your robot against (graciously professional) competitors.
