ATHLETIC PHYSICALS – 2026–2027

It's that time of the year again. TIME FOR PHYSICALS!

Physicals will be offered for all DSHS athletes and all future DSHS athletes for the 2026-2027 sports season. These physicals will take place at Denham Springs High School in the Hornsby gym the cost of this physical is $20 (Cash only that will be paid at the door).

Today was truly a blessing—working as the athletic trainer for the Bulldogs at the Red Stick Bowl in Baton Rouge on such a beautiful day was something I won’t forget. I was grateful for the opportunity to watch my Denham boys one last time as seniors and celebrate a hard-earned win in their final game, a moment filled with pride and emotion. Experiences like this remind me why I love what I do, especially being surrounded by incredible student trainers who work their butts off every single day simply because they love it. Great job boys- proud of the 5 of you!!!! Go Yellow Jackets!!!!

Wasn’t ready for this season to be over because I love this group of Seniors and I’m going to miss them!!!! Really felt like this was going to be their year- most unselfish team players and Best Coaches in the State- so proud of this group, and they deserve to hold their head up high!!! This will always be a season to remember- the boys-Yellow Jackets-of the fall 2025 , I Love my Boys- All the Honor and Glory to God!!

As an athletic trainer, my goal has always been to support you and the team—helping you stay healthy, confident, and ready to compete. Knowing that those efforts made an impact on you personally means more than words can say.

Fun fact: DSHS Sports Medicine team has a combined total of 54 years of athletic training experience in Livingston Parish, and 62 years total athletic training experience. Thank you to Peak Performance, Dr. Chip Bankston, and BROC for always adding a helping hand on the sideline.
