Due to the potential impacts of Tropical Storm Arthur, including the possibility of significant rainfall, gusty winds, tornadoes, and localized flooding in our area, A Child’s World will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, June 18, 2026 for the safety of our children, families, and staff.

Livingston Parish Schools have also announced that summer school programs will be closed tomorrow due to the expected weather conditions and we follow Livingston Parish Schools for emergency closures.

We understand that unexpected closures can create challenges for families, and we appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the safety and well-being of everyone in our care.

Please continue to monitor your messages for any updates regarding reopening. We encourage all families to stay weather-aware and take necessary precautions during the storm.

Hey everyone!!!

We always get calls about part time care for infants. It’s a service we have never done but it seems to be in high demand so we are looking to launch this new program at our center if we get a good response. We would be shooting g to open this class June 1, 2026.

We would have a 3 day a week program that would be Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. And we would have a 2 day a week program that would be on Tuesday and Thursdays.
